READ | Millers to hold 'Rotherham Remembers' tribute and minute's applause for Tommy Docherty prior to Stoke City fixture

Rotherham United will pay tribute to Millers supporters, players and staff who have sadly passed away during the past 12 months at around 7:35pm at tonight’s game with Stoke City as part of our ‘Rotherham Remembers’ tribute.

Whilst we are incredibly disappointed that we cannot pay our respects in the usual way with supporters unable to attend tonight’s Sky Bet Championship fixture, the club are encouraging Millers fans to join us in honouring the lives of Millers gone before us from home, as part of this important tribute for our loved ones.

The club have been in touch with our contacts at iFollow, who have made provisions to ensure that their cameras are focused on the big screen for the duration of the tribute being played out.

In addition to the tribute being played out at AESSEAL New York Stadium, we will also be making the video 'Rotherham Remembers' reel available to fans through our social media channels, meaning everyone will be given the chance to pay their own respects to Millers fans who are so sadly no longer with us.

As a mark of respect for our former manager Tommy Docherty who passed away recently, we will also ask supporters to join us in a minute’s applause prior to kick off in his memory. Tonight’s match referee will bring both teams together in the centre circle for this tribute.

The Millers will also be wearing black armbands as a mark of respect for Tommy and the supporters, players and staff who have passed away in the last year.

Once a Miller, always a Miller.
