READ | New dates confirmed for postponed home clashes against Derby County and Cardiff City

Rotherham United have now confirmed new dates for the two postponed Sky Bet Championship home games against Derby County and Cardiff City.

Following conversations with the EFL and the respective clubs, the Millers have now rescheduled the clashes with the Rams and Bluebirds which will both take on midweek dates in early February.

The clash with Derby County – which was postponed following a Covid-19 outbreak in the Millers squad – has been rearranged to take place at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 and will kick off at the slightly earlier time of 7pm.

The Millers game against Cardiff City originally scheduled for Saturday 2nd January 2021 - which fell foul to inclement weather in South Yorkshire – will also take on the 7pm kick off time a week later, when Paul Warne’s side welcome their counterparts from South Wales on Tuesday 9th February 2021.

The club remain in contact with Middlesbrough as both clubs look to agree a new date for the postponed Boxing Day clash at The Riverside.
