Rotherham United are incredibly pleased to confirm that Jamie Lindsay has been voted as our PA Entertainments Man of the Match following his display in Saturday’s 1-0 Sky Bet Championship victory over Derby County.
The Scottish midfielder rounded off a trademark high energy display with the crucial winning goal with just four minutes left to play at Pride Park.
On a day where every member of the team impressed, it was Lindsay who received the supporter’s vote, courtesy of another combative display in the middle of the park.

His performance was watched by fans both domestically and overseas, with the game shown live on iFollow Millers and he was crowned Man of the Match with a big overall majority of 65.7% of the votes.

This poll is supported by PA Entertainments who have been long-term supporters of the club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.
As part of the agreement, the club’s official Twitter account @OfficialRUFC will post an online poll after each Millers fixture allowing supporters to pick out their Man of the Match from the shortlist.
The PA Entertainments Man of the Match will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.
The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match will be this Tuesday, when the Millers host Stoke City at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
