Rotherham United are incredibly proud to have collaborated with rehabilitation and patient care company, More Rehab, who have furthered the medical provision available to the first team through access to their facilities and equipment.

This exciting new relationship will give the club’s medical staff the opportunity to accelerate player rehabilitation, allowing Paul Warne’s squad to return to action sooner thanks to this new access to world renowned equipment including the Alter G treadmill.

This state-of-the-art running apparatus provides anti-gravity conditions which allow the injured player to work under a reduced load, in turn, providing them with prime opportunity to load injured tissues both safely and progressively.

More Rehab are a company with rehabilitation and patient care at the forefront of their company aims. They have clinics in both Sheffield and Doncaster providing a variety of types of rehabilitation including neurological therapy, occupational therapy, sport psychology and of course musculoskeletal services.

Their wide-ranging rehabilitation services provide a well-rounded road to recovery for anyone suffering from an injury. For more information go to their website morerehab.com or follow them on twitter @morerehab.

The club – who have been unfortunate with a number of long-term injuries this season - have enjoyed the benefit of this partnership recently with players returning to matchday squads over the last few weeks, including the likes of Clark Robertson and Kieran Sadlier more recently.

Rotherham United Performance Manager Ross Burbeary expressed his gratitude on behalf of the club to More Rehab for their assistance, which has greatly benefitted a number of first team players, particularly with the limiting factors brought about by the pandemic.

“I speak on behalf of everyone at the training ground when I say how impressed we have been with the people at More Rehab and the way in which they have made their services available to us in recent months,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“We are always looking at new ways in which we can help our players and gaining access to state-of-the-art equipment like the Alter G treadmill has once again helped us to step up our sports science and medical operation at the club.

“We pride ourselves on how fit a group of players we have here at the club, but they are not invincible and as we’ve seen they do get injured. We’ve been really unlucky on that front this year, with some almost ‘freak’ injuries ruling lads out for long periods.

“However, nearly all of the players who have been out of action have returned to playing sooner than planned and that is in no small part down to companies like More Rehab, who have been excellent with us.

“The pandemic has obviously been challenging for football clubs who have had to close or limit the use of gyms and other facilities, so we are incredibly grateful to More Rehab who have been able to offer us a safe and Covid-secure environment in which to rehabilitate our players.”
