Rotherham United goalkeeper Viktor Johansson has been voted the PA Entertainments Man of the Match for the narrow 1-0 defeat to Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Millers went toe-to-toe with the Sky Bet Championship leaders at the weekend, in a game where both teams created good chances. Johansson was called into action with 20 minutes to go when Teemu Pukki was sent through one on one, forcing an excellent stop from the Swede.

And it was Johansson’s overall performance which saw him pick up his fourth Man of the Match crown, earning himself 53.4% of the 774 votes cast, ahead of Clark Robertson, Ben Wiles and Lewis Wing.

This poll is supported by PA Entertainments who have been long-term supporters of the club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.

As part of the agreement, the club’s official Twitter account @OfficialRUFC will post an online poll after each Millers fixture allowing supporters to pick out their Man of the Match from the shortlist.

The PA Entertainments Man of the Match will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.

The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match will be this Tuesday, when the Millers face Nottingham Forest at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
