Rotherham United’s Central League Cup fixture away at Walsall has been rearranged and will now take place on Tuesday 18th January at 1pm.
The Millers had previously been set to make the trip to the Midlands in November, but the club’s involvement in a Papa John’s Trophy fixture on the same date resulted in the game being postponed.
The second string will now wait until the New Year to travel to face the Saddlers in this year’s 2021/22 competion.
The Millers have already faced Huddersfield Town in this season’s Central League Cup campaign and are due to take on Walsall, Grimsby Town and Lincoln City before the 2021/22 competition is out.
