The Millers Memory Club – a group created to support members of the local community who have encountered memory-related illness – are set to meet for their festive gathering at AESSEAL New York Stadium this Friday (3rd December).
Members new and old will be welcome to attend the group which provides a relaxed and safe environment and takes place in the Community Sports Trust’s ground level Goal Zone facility between 1pm and 3pm on Friday afternoon.
Our amazing team of volunteers will once again be on-hand to serve teas and coffees and provide light refreshments, whilst those attending can enjoy reminiscing the Millers of yesteryear by flicking through some old programmes and books which have been kindly donated following the recent article which featured in the national newspapers.
The December meeting marks our closest to Christmas and will be themed accordingly – there may even be some mince pies on offer!
As a result of the latest Government guidelines, we are encouraging anyone wishing to attend to take precautions such as wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing, as much as is possible.
There is no charge to attend the group and everyone is welcome to join us down at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
