Rotherham United are back in Sky Bet League One action on Tuesday 7th November, when they welcome Gillingham to AESSEAL New York Stadium for a 7:45pm kick off.
Ahead of the fixture with Steve Evans’ side, we’d like to remind supporters of some important information…
Arrive early
We would like to once again encourage supporters who are attending this fixture to arrive in plenty of time ahead of the 7:45pm kick off.
Having issued a similar message prior to our recent Sky Bet League One fixtures – which yielded a more positive outcome with supporters entering the turnstiles with greater ease – we are once again asking that fans arrive at AESSEAL New York Stadium in plenty of time and familiarise themselves with the new ticket scanning process at the stadium.
Tickets
Having ironed out a number of early teething issues which were experienced following the return of supporters, we are keen to ensure that our fan base is now up-to-speed with how to gain access using both season card and matchday tickets.
For those who are not yet familiar with the new turnstile access control system, we have produced the below video tutorial, which we hope will be hopeful to supporters prior to their arrival at the stadium.

Don Street to remain closed until December
We would like to remind supporters of the ongoing works on Don Street, which usually provides an access and egress route to and from the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Access to and from the stadium via Don Street has been restricted since supporters returned for the 2021/22 campaign and following recent discussions with the Council, the club can confirm that Don Street will remain closed for both vehicles and pedestrians until all road and bridge works have reached completion.
New York Way will now be the primary access and egress route for vehicular traffic while pedestrians will continue to use New York Way and the car park located the rear of Riverside House.
We would once again like to thanks supporters for their patience and understanding regarding this.
Elior UK continuing to encourage card payments on stadium concourse kiosks
As we continue to work towards speeding up food and drink services on matchdays, our catering partners at Elior UK would like to once again encourage card payments on the concourse kiosks.
While cash will still be accepted, we would again like to take this opportunity to encourage fans to use card payments, which remains the quickest and most convenient way to pay on a matchday.
Having noted feedback from supporters about queuing times and whilst continuing to work closely with Elior UK, we remain committed to achieving the best supporter experience possible at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
