Ahead of Rotherham United’s trip to Cambridge United this weekend in Sky Bet League One, our hosts at the Abbey Stadium have provided us with a pack of useful information for supporters joining us.

Below is information concerning paying on the day, ticket collections, Covid protocols in place at the Abbey Stadium and car parking.

Pay on the day information

Pay on the day is available from the ticket office which is located just off Newmarket Road at the front of the ground. There are no price increases to those previously advertised and supporters will be able to pay for the tickets using cash or card.

As of 9.30am on Friday 17th December, the current sales are 1,109. The tickets are on sale until 4pm at the Red and White Shop, over the phone on 01709 827768 and online at http://tickets.themillers.co.uk

Ticket Collections

Ticket collections are available from the same place as the ticket sales.

COVID protocol

Cambridge have provided us with some important information regarding Covid protocols in place for this weekend’s game which can be found HERE.

Coach information

Information for supporters who are arranging coaches to the match can be found here: https://www.cambridgefansunited.org/coach-driver-info.html

Car parking

Street parking around the stadium is restricted. An alternative is to use the Park & Ride service. It is situated near the airport to the east of the city and is a 10-to-15-minute walk to the ground along Newmarket Road. The cost of using the service for fans is £2.50 for the return trip.

More information can be found here

We recommend supporters to use the service

Are you a cashless stadium?

Cambridge United are attempting to become as cashless as possible, however, they will take cash if there is no other option at the kiosks

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

There is a Tesco superstore about 10-minute walk from the ground on Newmarket Road

Pubs

We have been notified of the following by Cambirdgeshire police...

None of the pubs/hotels close to the ground will accept any football fans on match days. This is primarily on Newmarket Road.

Pubs within the City Centre will accept Football Fans.  A good starting point is Regent Street. Biggest Wetherspoons is there - The Regal | Pub in Cambridgeshire - J D Wetherspoon
