“There were times in the game where I thought a point would be a good one, they asked us a lot of questions and I was really impressed when they came to us a few weeks ago.
“They are one of the hardest competitors we’ve played.
“There wasn’t any natural flow to our game in the first half, I didn’t think we were as physical as I’d have liked and in the second half we were better.
“It must have been a great game for the neutral, with both teams pushing for the win, thankfully it was us.
“Today it felt like a big win, Cambridge didn’t let us play at our best and we’ve managed to come out of the game unscathed.”
