Rotherham United can confirm that young forward Jerome Greaves has joined Matlock Town on loan until January 2022, subject to ratification from the EFL, Northern Premier League and The FA.
The Academy graduate has made the switch to Causeway Lane as he looks to continue his footballing education having stepped up into the senior side from the youth setup last season.
In a similar arrangement to the one recently publicised following Jacob Gratton and Jake Hull’s loan switches to Guiseley AFC, Greaves will also be available to represent the Millers in the Papa John’s Trophy during the 2021/22 campaign.
Greaves joins the Gladiators in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and will have his progress closely monitored by the first team staff at Roundwood.
Everyone at Rotherham United would like to wish Jerome all the best during his time with Matlock Town.
