“We knew we had to battle. In the first half, we didn’t have enough care in the final third. I asked them at half time to take an extra touch and I thought we were a lot better in the second half.
"I thought we deserved our win, truth be told. Overall, it was a really good performance
"I thought Woody came on and gave us a little more solidity. In the windy conditions, I thought we had to defend our box a little more. I needed Woody on the pitch for that. Overall I thought that we were good value for the win. We leave here really pleased.
"I thought we started ok, but they started to impose themselves. We then had a good spell and Smudge had a couple of good attempts. The lads settled into the game a lot more.
"I told Smithy to pass it (for the goal!). Ollie did really well. He was always looking forward and he got the ball into Smith. He hit it and it was a bit of a screamer. His efforts are pretty phenomenal at the club."
