Freddie Ladapo has made a habit of scoring important goals recently and his brace against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday might just be the most of crucial of all.

With the Millers trailing against Mark Warburton’s side with just over an hour played, Ladapo turned the game on it’s head with two strikes in as many minutes.

The first, an instinctive touch and finish after collecting Lewis Wing’s perfectly lofted through ball. He had more time to think about the second when he was put through on goal by Wes Harding, but it was the same result.

Back of the net.

Ladapo’s brace earned him the landslide majority of the supporters’ vote, with 81.5% picking the striker.

Michael Smith also received recognition following his goal to wrap up the points in the final minute, with Dan Barlaser and Angus MacDonald also nominated.

🏆| What. A. Win.

We struggled picking four - and we accept we might be wrong - but it is time to pick your @paentsuk Man of the Match from the victory over Queens Park Rangers.#rufc | #ForeverTogetherForeverProud

Background:

This poll is supported by PA Entertainments who have been long-term supporters of the club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.

As part of the agreement, the club’s official Twitter account @OfficialRUFC will post an online poll after each Millers fixture allowing supporters to pick out their Man of the Match from the shortlist.

The PA Entertainments Man of the Match will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.

The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match will be on Thursday, when the Millers face Coventry City at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
