We have received a number of questions from supporters regarding the iFollow Millers service ahead of the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign and have subsequently collated them below, in an attempt to provide further clarity on the situation at present.

Following the agreement made between Sky Sports and the EFL, it has been decided that all Championship Clubs are able to stream any match not shown live on Sky to fans who purchase individual match passes for £10.

This new flexible framework will remain in place for the period during which doors remain closed to fans or Clubs are restricted to limited capacity crowds.

So, are you saying that there will be the option to buy a video match pass for £10 for EVERY single game, other than those chosen for broadcast by Sky Sports?

That’s right.

As above, this new flexible framework will remain in place for the period during which doors remain closed to fans or Clubs are restricted to limited capacity crowds (or until we are advised to the contrary).

In buying a match pass, am I helping to generate revenue for Rotherham United?

Yes.

Provided that you buy your match pass on iFollow Millers (and not the iFollow of the opposition club on the day) 100% of the net revenue from each sale comes back to Rotherham United.

If I choose to buy a Flexi-Season Ticket will I receive a discount on the £10 price quoted for an iFollow Millers match pass?

Unfortunately not.

The cost of the match pass is determined by the EFL and we have not made any provisions to offer any form of discount for those choosing to purchase a Flexi-Season Ticket with us.

Do I have to sign up to a membership of some description or are there any recurring payments?

No.

Match passes will be priced at £10 and sold individually on a match-by-match basis.

Therefore, payment will only be taken for each fixture you choose to purchase a match pass for.

I haven’t used the iFollow Millers service before, how do I go about watching a game?

There are a number of ways for fans to watch fixtures they have purchased a match pass for using iFollow Millers.

Those using a desktop or laptop computer can watch matches through the club’s official website using the browser.

An option will come up on the Match Centre (below) giving you the option to ‘watch’ the fixture.

Simply click this button and you will be taken to the relevant page in time for kick off.

Alternatively, those choosing to watch on a mobile or tablet will need to install the new EFL iFollow app (which can be downloaded via this link).

Please note, supporters who used the club-specific Rotherham United app to watch/listen to games last season, will need to replace this with the new EFL iFollow app.

I’ve got a computer or mobile device to watch the game on, is there a chance that anything could hinder my viewing experience?

The clarity/quality of the video stream picture will ultimately be dictated by the strength of the internet connection you are using.

If you are experiencing streaming problems, there is a facility in the player to reduce the stream quality, which should hopefully help those with slower internet connections.
