Through the fundraising work which has been completed by the Rotherham United Disabled Supporters Association (RUDSA), we are pleased to announce that the group have donated 10 sensory bags to be used by Millers supporters at the matches here at AESSEAL New York Stadium. The packs contain a pair of ear defenders, a colouring book, some crayons and a sensory toy.

The RUDSA aims to ensure that disabled supporters enjoy the best matchday experience that they possibly can when they attend home fixtures, through continued dialogue with Rotherham United. The group also aims to provide opportunities for our disabled fans to meet socially, and they are planning to hold at least four meetings annually with the latest meeting held in February with club honorary life president John Breckin, and first team player, Clark Robertson.

These packs are available to reserve on a match day by contacting dlo@rotherhamunited.net in advance of the game, subject to availability, and that will secure your pack. There will be a small refundable deposit of £10 cash payable for the pack which will be collected from the main reception on the day of the relevant fixture. Your deposit will be handed back to you after the match when the sensory pack is returned.

If you would like to hear more about the RUDSA then please visit the fan zone outside the stadium on Saturday for our fixture against Southend United, where members of the committee will be on hand to help. If you can’t make it to the match then please email officialRUDSA@gmail.com for more information or to request a free membership form.
