Rotherham United were deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of supporter Wilfred Oxley.
Millers fans may remember Wilf from his visit to AESSEAL New York Stadium last Christmas, which with the help of our friends at Mears, allowed us to facilitate him attending his first match in 15 years.
Wilf made a lasting impression on everyone at Rotherham United from Paul Warne, John Breckin and Richard Wood who first visited him at his house to invite him to the home game with Rochdale, to all those who he came into contact with on the day of the game at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The thoughts of everyone at Rotherham United are with Wilf’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
