The club are delighted to announce that the Rotherham United Promotion Show will take place live on YouTube on Friday (26th June) to allow supporters to join players and staff in celebrating our success in the 2019/20 campaign.
With the pandemic meaning that we are unable to hold any physical event at present, we have taken the decision to instead put on this ‘virtual’ celebration in order to allow players, staff and supporters alike the chance to raise a glass to our promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
Members of the current first team staff and squad will join us live via video call at various stages throughout the evening which kicks off at 7pm, for a number of interviews and light-hearted games, as we look to mark their fantastic achievements from August to the present day.
The evening will also feature highlights and goals from the 2019/20 campaign and will be packed with interviews from a number of personalities connected to the Millers.
We are planning on this being a light-hearted production which will run for around an hour-and-a-half and will be largely unscripted, but, as in previous weeks we ask for your patience ahead of another type of event that we have not held before.
In hosting the Rotherham United Promotion Show live online, we are hoping that supporters are able to enjoy our celebrations with us from the comfort of their own homes, and marking the fantastic achievement of our promotion in a safe way.
Fans wishing to watch the event will simply need to join us on YouTube shortly before 7pm on the night. We will post a link to the event nearer to the time.
