Rotherham United Community Sports Trust Future Stars programme returned this week with a new look coaching team, whereby David Atkinson has been joined by Adam Pilgrim.
The Future Stars programme, which has been adjusted to comply with government guidelines has been an overwhelming success with three days of delivery to 50 young footballers selling out in 24 hours. The trust had been implementing new safety measures over the last few weeks to ensure all sessions held at Parkgate Astro meet the required standards ensuring the safety of their staff, participants and designated family members.
David Atkinson resumes his role within the Future Stars setup bringing a wealth of experience from his previous full time role at the trust, and now his role at Rotherham United F.C academy as Lead Foundation Phase Coach.
The trust are also pleased to announce the return of Adam Pilgrim, whom was previously employed prior to taking on a new challenge. Adam also boasts a great community and footballing resume, with both coaching and managerial experience. Adams drive and commitment to developing not only his own abilities, but the progression of the participants is second to none.

With further easing of restrictions expected in the not so distant future, the trust are hopeful of bringing additional staff members back to support with the delivery of the programme, ensuring they maintain the quality yet safe delivery of all our sessions.
