Rotherham United are delighted to unveil the third and final instalment of our Puma Teamwear strips for the 2020/21 season in the form of our asphalt and black Alternate change kit.
This extremely sleek design will provide the Millers with an option on their travels when both their red Primary and white pinstripe Secondary kits cause a potential clash with opponents.
We have been overwhelmed by the reaction to the release of our kit designs for the upcoming season so far and are hopeful that this more simplistic design proves to be another hit with our supporters.
The club would again like to say a huge thank you to Phil Smith for his continued support and we are proud to confirm that the Embark Group logo will proudly adorn the front of all three Millers strips throughout 2020/21.
Club partners Hughie Construction, whose logo features on the reverse of our already released Secondary strip, will also see their branding displayed on the rear of this Alternate strip over the course of the coming season as their business portfolio with the club continues to grow.
The shirt technology is once again made of lightweight polyester with moisture wicking technology - designed to quickly draw sweat away from the body, keeping you drier, cooler and more comfortable for longer.
The accompanying black shorts are also made from 100% polyester and come complete with windmill crest and grown on waistband with inner drawcord, while the socks are consistent with the design of the rest of the strip and are black in colour with the club initials ‘RUFC’ knitted into the reverse. The socks also feature a red accent on the outer leg in homage to the club’s home colours, while the Puma Cat branding is displayed on the front.
Sales of the 2020/21 Alternate change strip will be launched online on Monday 27th July 2020 at 9am and available to purchase in-store at the Red and White Shop when it opens an hour later at 10am.
