Rotherham United can confirm that forward Jerry Yates has been recalled from his loan at Swindon Town, subject to FA ratification.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful temporary switch to the County Ground where he became a first team regular, turning out 29 times for the Robins after joining in July 2019.
In addition to his tireless work rate in their colours, Yates further endeared himself to the Swindon faithful as a result of his record in front of goal, which saw him plunder an impressive 13 goals in all competitions.
The Millers served the required 24 hours’ notice on the recall last night meaning that Yates will rejoin Paul Warne’s side when they return to training on Thursday.
