READ | Ability Counts participants welcome teams out for Blackpool fixture in Random Act of Kindness

2 January 2020

Rotherham United were delighted to give members of our Community Sports Trust’s Ability Counts sessions an up close and personal look at AESSEAL New York Stadium on a matchday as part of our Random Act of Kindness.

We were thrilled to hear that participants from the Ability Counts sessions, which are held at Parkgate Astro on Saturday mornings, had accepted our invite to welcome the Millers and Blackpool out as flag bearers ahead of the Sky Bet League One meeting on New Year’s Day.

As well as the chance to step foot on the hallowed turf at the club’s first team stadium on matchday, the participants were given the opportunity to see the warm-up up close and personal ahead of the clash with the Tangerines.

We hope you had a great day guys!

The Millers will once again be running the Random Act of Kindness scheme throughout the season, so make sure that you get into the ground early to be in with a chance to being selected for the ‘random act’ taking place on the day!
