Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) are pleased to announce the home fixture at the AESSEAL New York Stadium against MK Dons on Saturday 29th February 2020 will be the Community Takeover Day.

Following the success of last years “Kids Take-Over” theme, we are overjoyed to announce this will return for a second year.

RUFC & RUCST are working in partnership to offer young millers a once in a life time opportunity, where they will be able to become a member of the Rotherham United Family. This year we are working in partnership with Sitwell school, where 6 lucky students have been given a chance to work in various exciting roles during the day, such as 1st team assistant, stadium announcer, Retail, Hospitality plus many more fantastic opportunities up for grabs!

Jamie Noble, Head of Community said: “We are delighted to host the community day on 29th of February. It’s a great opportunity for our team to showcase the fantastic work they deliver to the local community.”

“We are extremely excited about the return of the kids take-over day, once again it will offer another dimension to the day whilst giving young Millers a once in a life time opportunity”

“Everyone at the Trust would like to thank Chairman Tony Stewart and Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas for this opportunity and continued support with the work we deliver.”
