Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Kieran Sadlier who has penned a two-year deal to become Paul Warne’s second summer addition ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, subject to EFL and FA ratification.

Sadlier arrives at AESSEAL New York Stadium following a successful spell with South Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers. The 25-year-old was a standout performer for Rovers, finding the net 11 times and assisting a further six in Sky Bet League One last term.

Sadlier arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium following a prolific spell in the League of Ireland Premier Division with Cork City and Sligo Rovers. He replicated this fine goal-scoring form with Rovers during the 2019/20 campaign, finishing as the club’s top scorer. This prompted Paul Warne to snap him up following the expiration of his contract.

The 25-year-old came through the ranks at Cambridge United before making a move to West Ham United in 2005, signing his first pro-deal with the Hammers in 2013. Following two years in East London he went on to enjoy spells at Scottish outfit St Mirren, Halifax Town (loan) and Peterborough United before making his move to Ireland.

Sadlier has joined up with his Rotherham United teammates at Roundwood, as the Millers prepare for their 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
