READ | Richie's match worn Derby Day winning shirt sells for £900 for NHS

5 April 2020

Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that the match worn shirt worn by Richie Barker in his matchwinning performance at Hillsborough in 2002 has been sold via an auction to raise a staggering £900 for the NHS.

An incredibly kind and selfless gesture from Millers fan Rob Harrison saw this iconic piece of Millers history donated and following a number of fantastic bids on the club’s Facebook page, it was Raymond Senior whose generous offer secured the item.

Richie Barker has offered to hand sign and personalise the item for Raymond when it is safe to do so.

Thank you to everyone that made offers to help raise funds for our NHS, who continue to care for our loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
