Rotherham United’s fixture against Shrewsbury Town has been chosen as a dedicated Kick It Out fixture.

The Millers have a number of activities planned to mark the occasion which will include the first-team squad sporting t-shirts during the warm-up prior to the 3pm kick-off, whilst the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust will also pledge their support in several different ways.

Special Kick It Out flags will be displayed at the players’ entrance and will greet the teams as they make their way out of the tunnel at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Resident club mascot Miller Bear will also be sporting the Kick It Out branding whilst club staff will proudly wear the charity’s badges on the day of the game.

Jamie Noble, Head of Community was delighted to back the campaign once again this year following its success in previous seasons.

“The Kick It Out campaign carries a fantastic message and one that we wholeheartedly believe in here at Rotherham United.

“Our aim at the football club is to ensure that everyone in the community can enjoy what we’re doing here, whether that’s on a matchday or through our work in the local area, regardless of their background.

“Paul Warne is a big advocate and he has done an incredible amount of work to reunite the club with the community, and today’s activities will hopefully reinforce that commitment.”
