Rotherham United can confirm that goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has been called up to Denmark’s squad and will miss this weekend’s trip to face Doncaster Rovers.
The Leicester City loanee has received the call to join up with his nation as a result, will be away on international duty as Paul Warne’s side travel to the Keepmoat Stadium.
Millers boss Paul Warne placed on record that he is pleased for the young stopper, who has impressed since arriving at AESSEAL New York Stadium and whilst he is disappointed to lose him this weekend, has no issues with Lewis Price grasping the opportunity.
“It's good for him, that is for sure,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.
“I'm really pleased for him, I'm obviously disappointed for myself but like I've said before, having Pricey in goal is no drama for me, I think really highly of Pricey as well.”
