Rotherham United players have been out in force once again visiting local schools, community groups and other projects around the Rotherham community.

So far this season our players have visited numerous schools and community venues within the Rotherham area such as Wickersley School and Sports College for our holiday camps, our Learning facility to meet our newly enrolled learners, Smyths toys superstore for the launch of FIFA 20 and our Girls Cup football tournament to inspire the next generation of girls footballers.

Jamie Noble, Head of Community said “It’s important that players support initiatives to give them exposure and to show fans and the Rotherham community the players care for the community and respect the town they play for. Players are giving up their free time to support our projects. With each player visit providing laughs, smiles and memories that will last a lifetime”

All of the player visits prove to be a hit, with the participants spending time with their heroes. Taking part in Q&A sessions, practical and educational sessions, with the hope that it can inspire the participants. Our players are always happy to take time out of their schedule to go into the Rotherham community and make a difference.
