Following some correspondence with their community team we arranged a visit down to Birmingham which included a mini tour of the stadium and a couple of matches between Villa’s walking football teams and the Mature Millers followed by some splendid refreshments/ sandwiches.
Feedback from our Mature Millers group were that they had a brilliant day helped even more with a positive result on the football pitch. As the RUFC team beat a Villa team 5-3, who were led by Des Bremner a member of the Aston Villa European Cup winning side in 1982.
