The ability counts football sessions are open for 7-15year olds and adults over 16yrs. If you have visual impairments, deaf or hearing impaired, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and physical disability these sessions are open for you.

The sessions will be taking place at Wickersley School and Sports College, at the normal time of 9:30-10:30 am for 16 years and above, followed by a session at 10:45-11:45am for under 16’s. With a cost of £3.50 per session.

Jamie Noble the head of community said “We are happy to restart the ability counts football sessions. These sessions offer an inclusive football session for the children of Rotherham who otherwise may not have the opportunities to play football. We thank Wickersley School and sports college for facilitating our sessions, without their sport the support we wouldn’t have been able to continue our ability counts. Finally, we understand that this time has been stressful for the children and their parents, but we thank them for the patience they have shown while we sorted the future of the ability counts sessions.

Rotherham united community sports trust would like to put on record our gratitude to Wickersley School and Sports College for the support they have shown and agreeing to facilitate the session. We would like to thank the patience shown from parents and participants over the past couple of months.
