Rotherham United Education Academy are pleased to announce two information events throughout December in preparation for the 2020/21 academic year.
At the Education Academy we deliver a number of high quality academic programmes of study in Further and Higher Education. The various study programmes combine academic studies with a practical sporting experience and are aimed at young people who have a passion for sport and a desire to progress to University or employment within the sporting industry. These events aim to provide details of what the football club offer to young people for when they leave school at Year 11.
Firstly, on Saturday 7th December the football club will be offering an open event at the RUFC first team fixture against Rochdale A.F.C. Attendees will meet on the day at 11:45am in the Education Suite (Floor 1, Goal Zone), for a presentation detailing the Study Programmes on offer and Sports Academies including our brand new Football Shadow Scholarship. Following the presentation all prospective students will be invited pitch side for a photo with a RUFC first team player. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and each attendee will receive 2 tickets to stay and enjoy the game.
If you are unable to make the above event we are also running an Education Open Evening on Thursday 12th December (6pm – 7.30pm). This event will also involve a presentation detailing our courses along with a tour of our Educational facilities.
