Rotherham United fielded a youthful reserves side as they travelled to Mansfield Town on Tuesday afternoon, but it was the Stags who came out on top in The Central League.

Ciaran Toner's youngsters were quick out of the blocks in Nottinghamshire and Jerome Greaves pounced on a loose ball to fire the Millers into the lead on three minutes following Bobby Olejnik's initial save.

However, just three minutes later and the hosts restored parity. Jordan Graham slid a neat pass through to the feet of Omari Sterling-James, and the Kits and Nevis international made no mistakes with the finish.

Graham then got on the scoresheet himself via the penalty spot after 19 minutes to hand the Stags an advantage, but they couldn't extend their lead before half-time as Elliot Ellis made a string of saves.

Following the restart, Mansfield scored again as Aiden Walker powered a header into the net to break Rotherham's resistance. Tyrese Sinclair then grabbed the final goal of the game on 54 minutes, rifling an emphatic strike beyond Ellis.
