Williams earns first national call...

Rotherham United attacker Ryan Williams has been named in the extended Australia squad, ahead of their international showdown with South Korea on 7th June.

The 25-year-old, who has been on the cusp of a first international call throughout the season, will be required to join up with his Socceroos’ teammates for the first time as they travel out to Busan, South Korea, on 28th May.

Williams will be involved with Graham Arnold’s senior side for the first time, having previously represented his nation at U20 and U23 level and joins older brother Rhys in the Socceroos' squad.

The versatile forward joins Millers teammates Semi Ajayi, Will Vaulks and Kyle Vassell in earning a first international call-up this campaign for their respective nations.
