Further information on the club's plans for overseas training camp...

Rotherham United can confirm their intentions to play two fixtures during their overseas training camp in Germany, which will see Paul Warne’s side leave English shores on Monday 8th July and return on Monday 15th July.

The club are waiting on signed agreements from opposition clubs and permissions from the relevant Football Associations before any official announcement can be made, but we are aware that our supporters wishing to travel out to Germany will want to make plans as early as possible.

As the club has already confirmed, Paul Warne’s side will be based in Barsinghausen outside Hannover during their week-long stay in Germany.

One fixture has so far been provisionally agreed with an overseas match agent and, as it stands, is scheduled to take place on Sunday 14th July, 2pm KO.

Whilst we must reiterate that this game is subject to change until the official agreements have been fully signed and approved by all parties, the following venue has been proposed:

Sunday 14th July 2019: Elm-Stadion, Elmstraße, 38364 Schöningen, 2pm.

An announcement on the Millers’ opponents for this game, and full details of the other fixture will follow when the signed agreements are returned.

We expect the other fixture, should it go ahead as planned, to take place in midweek on Wednesday 10th July but at present, but we cannot reveal any further information on this game. We must reiterate that this date is subject to change.

Please keep an eye on the official website for updates.
