Paul Warne talks to iFollow Millers ahead of the trip to Queens Park Rangers...

Rotherham United manager Paul Warne was on iFollow Millers duty ahead of the trip to the capital on Wednesday night for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

Warne spoke to the club on Will Vaulks' red card, the defeat at Bramall Lane and talked Millers team news, with full video content available shortly HERE on iFollow Millers…

Warne’s South Yorkshire derby reflections…

“It wasn't the Yorkshire derby that we were hoping for and wanting. They scored from a set piece early on and after that I thought we were really good for 20 minutes

“Will's sending off makes it a really tall order. We were talking to the lads about staying in the game until 75 minutes.

“After they scored again it was more about not conceding a lot of goals, for our goal difference.”

Warne on Vaulks’ sending off creating an opportunity for someone else…

“There will definitely be changes, whether it's Wednesday night or Saturday. It's not that they can't play three games, it's just whether they can give me 100% in all of them.

“We were talking about when Pottsy and Kieffer came out the team [last season], the lads are more than capable here. Everyone wants to play here and prove a point.

“Whoever gets Will's shirt will want to keep it.

“We have a plethora of options there for sure but Will has been brilliant and a big part of what we're trying to do.”

Warne on Clark Robertson injury and general team news…

He's [Robertson] still a little bit sore. We'll assess him again tomorrow.

“Normally I moan about a Wednesday game but it gives us a bit more time recovery. I think he's a doubt but we'll have another look.

“A lot of the lads who played Saturday haven't been on the grass today.

“There were no issues [with Jon Taylor] at all and I think he was our biggest threat first half. I think the game had gone past us second half which is why I took him off.

Warne on Raggett returning to Norwich for the remainder of his rehab…

“It's sad for him and us. We enjoyed having him here and it’s unfortunate his loan season was blighted here. He got in the team and then came out and got in the team and then came out.”

Warne on QPR test…

“If you look at all their last games, they score a lot of goals and they’re a real threat up front. They're perhaps in a run of results that nobody wants. All their games are really really tight.

“The standard is so high and they'll definitely see this game against us to get them winning a game, so will their fans, so it's up to us to go and break their hearts.

“They put Smith on up top and caused loads of problems. I thought overall we were probably the better team. They didn't create a lot of chances but the ones they did, they took.

On Darren Potter nearing his first reserve game…

“Pottsy has been training all the time. We've earmarked him to play in the ressies game at Port Vale. He's a long way off and won't play any part [in the first team] this season at all.”
