Rotherham United can confirm that they have exercised the option in midfielder Will Vaulks’ contract to extend his stay with the club by a further year.
Vaulks signed for the Millers from Falkirk in July 2016 and has been a regular since putting pen-to-paper. The 25-year old played an instrumental role in the club’s promotion to the Championship last season and has featured 34 times in the second tier this campaign.
His extended deal will now run until 30th June 2020.
Rotherham United boss Paul Warne said:
“Will has been instrumental in everything we’ve done since we first took charge.
“He is a leader on and off the pitch and is a really big part of what is a fantastic dressing room.
“By exercising this option, it gives us a bigger window of opportunity to hopefully try and sit down with Will to discuss the possibility of a longer deal.”
