The Rotherham United Community Sports Trust branding will today appear on the first-team walk out jackets until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Supporters attending today’s home game against Blackburn Rovers will see the Millers take to the field in red jackets, with the award-winning Trust’s logo emblazoned on the front and back.
It has been a busy week for the Community wing of the club, who were crowned the North East and Yorkshire Community Club of the Year on Thursday.
Today’s game has also been designated as the Community Takeover Day, where we will be showcasing some of the fine work we do within the local area.
The Trust are also giving several winners of a recent competition the opportunity to shadow some exciting roles during the match day, with jobs such as first team assistant, stadium announcer, ticket office manager plus many more fantastic opportunities up for grabs.
“We are delighted that our branding will be appearing on the first-team walk out jackets for the rest of this season,” said head of community Jamie Noble.
“It has been a great week for the Community Sports Trust, and today’s game is a further opportunity to showcase the great work we are undertaking through our Community Takeover Day.
“The new agreement we have also taken up gives the Trust a prominent branding position on matchdays to further raise our profile, and what we do within the local community.”
