Rotherham United will open their 2019/20 Sky Bet League One campaign with a trip to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 3rd August.
This morning’s fixture release will see Paul Warne’s new squad pitted against the Dons at Kingsmeadow in their first competitive action of the new campaign, before the Millers welcome Lincoln City to AESSEAL New York Stadium as their opponents for their maiden outing on home soil a week later on 10th August.
Other key dates for the diary include an early trip to Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 17th September with the reverse fixture following later in the year on Saturday 18th April, while the Millers’ festive Boxing Day fixture will come in the form of an away game at Shrewsbury Town.
Warne’s side will conclude their 2019/20 regular season fixtures by hosting Sunderland at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Sunday 3rd May 2020.
The Carabao Cup first round draw will take place tonight at 7pm.
