Rotherham United’s Academy returned to action in 2019 in a game which ended in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bradford City.
In an all-Yorkshire encounter, Ciaran Toner’s side were narrowly edged out by the Bantams, who reaffirmed their place at the top end of the Youth Alliance League table with the result.
Having featured on the bench for the first team clash against Preston North End, Jake Southern-Cooper returned to Youth Alliance League action and completed a full 90 minutes for the club’s Academy side.
