Rotherham United would like to make our supporters travelling to Millwall this weekend aware of a number of tributes which will be taking place by the home side prior to kick-off.
Millwall have designated the fixture as the club’s Memorial Day, using the game as an opportunity to honour supporters, staff, former players who have passed away during 2018. We have staged a similar tribute ourselves for Millers supporters prior to our game with Preston.
As part of the tributes there will be a minute’s applause immediately prior to kick-off. Whilst the names of all those who have passed away will be displayed on the big screen.
Rotherham United’s players and staff will of course be joining Millwall in honouring those lost, and we know we can count on our supporters to also respect the planned pre-match tributes prior to kick-off.
