7 February 2019

As part of our Community Trust’s work in local primary schools, Aston Hall Junior and Infant school were surprised with a visit from Will Vaulks!

The children were over joyed to meet Will and were all keen to ask questions and of course bag a selfie and autograph with the man himself.

“Since joining the club I have tried to give back as much as possible to the local community and in particular the work of the Community Trust and Bluebell Wood. Of course the work in schools is really important and from a personal point of view, the things I picked up from my sports coaches and teachers helped me progress in football so fingers crossed one day someone from Aston Hall is playing for Rotherham United” added Vaulks.

Claire Robertson, Primary Education Coordinator for Rotherham United Community Sports Trust said “The children were very excited to meet Will and as always he was fantastic with everyone. Allowing children to have the chance to meet and talk to role models like Will could be a significant event in a child’s life which can impact their future participation in football and other sports, leading to a healthier lifestyle.”
