Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday has been designated as the club’s NCS Takeover Day.
Working closely alongside the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust and Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, the Club are delighted to be supporting the government initiative which sees hundreds of thousands of young people aged between 15 and 18 take part in an action packed summer, picking key life skills along the way.
There are a number of activities planned for in and around AESSEAL New York Stadium including live music by NCS Graduates, team building games and a half time crossbar challenge.
In addition to the above, both teams will wear special NCS t-shirts for the beginning of this afternoon’s warm-up.
