Millers coach Matt Hamshaw has encouraged young duo Akeem Hinds and Joshua Kayode to make the most of their respective loan moves.

The Academy graduates have joined Bradford Park Avenue and Gateshead, respectively, until January 11^th, 2020.

Speaking to themillers.co.uk, Hamshaw said, “This is a good opportunity for them both to get some experience and play in front of crowds for three points.

“The pressure of turning up on a Saturday to play for points will do them the world of good. It’ll be good for them to develop as they’re a great pair of lads and we expect they’ll do well.

“We’ll be keeping a close eye on their progress, which will be accelerated by first-team games.”

Both Hinds and Kayode will still be available for selection for the Millers’ reserve games and EFL Trophy fixtures.
