Rotherham United are encouraging supporters to dig out their replica shirts, old and new, for the Easter Monday Sky Bet Championship showdown with Birmingham City.

The Millers are looking to encourage supporters to wear their favourite home shirts from past and present, in order to create a sea of red for the Bank Holiday fixture at AESSEAL New York Stadium in keeping the club’s ‘Forever Together’ motto.

Throughout years of history at Millmoor, Don Valley Stadium and our magnificent home, the AESSEAL New York Stadium, generations of Millers have owned numerous shirt designs.

The club are calling on fans, both young and old, to dig out and proudly wear their favourite replica home shirts from over the years and create a carnival atmosphere for the key Bank Holiday clash with the Blues.

With the season entering a crucial phase, the club are seeking to call upon our experiences from previous seasons at AESSEAL New York Stadium, where the ‘twelfth man’ has always been integral in helping the team over the line.

We’re also asking our supporters to get involved on social media, by tweeting your support with your favourite home shirt using the hastag #ImWearingMine

We’ll be reminding supporters throughout next week, so dust off those old shirts or dig out those that are new as we look to create a sea of red amongst three sides of the ground.
