Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are excited to be working in partnership with Rotherham United Football Club, and Passenger Transport Knowledge to encourage Greener Travel to games.
Helping to reduce pollution and improve health, our team will be leading walks from Maltby, Brinsworth, Wickersley and Thorpe Hesley.
The walks will give fans a chance to meet other fans and chat about the games as well as burn some calories, improve their physical and mental health, and reduce the amount of CO2 produced by driving to the match.
Emma Schofield, Health and Wellbeing Officer said: “We are keen to support any initiative which encourages a healthy lifestyle. Making small changes to your daily routine is a great way to get started. Walking is a perfect way to clear your mind and reduce stress.”
