Exit Strategy

Rotherham United have again drawn up plans in conjunction with South Yorkshire Police to try and facilitate the safest possible exit strategy from the ground for all supporters leaving AESSEAL New York Stadium after the game with Stoke City.

At the end of the game against Stoke City, home fans will be directed towards Don Street whilst away supporters will exit via New York Way leading to Main Street.

These restrictions are anticipated to be in place for up to 20 minutes after the final whistle has blown.

Pyrotechnics/Drug Detection Dogs

There will be specially trained detection dogs in attendance in and around the stadium that are trained to find both pyrotechnics and illegal drugs. This measure is for supporter safety and anyone found trying to enter the stadium with either of these banned items will be refused  entry and handed over to the Police who will take further action.

At the last fixture there were 9 people who were refused entry and are now being prosecuted for trying to enter the stadium with prohibited items.

We would like to thank all supporters for their co-operation and hope everyone enjoys the game.
