TICKETS | Details v Sheffield United

10 October 2018

Ticket details for Rotherham United’s televised Sky Bet Championship game against Sheffield United have been confirmed.

The Millers entertain The Blades in the all-South Yorkshire affair at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday 24th November, kick off 12.30pm.

Tickets for Rotherham United’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sheffield United are now on sale to supporters who have a purchase history with us, which includes season ticket holders who wish to purchase any additional tickets for family or friends. Supporters will be able to buy up to 5 tickets.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am Wednesday 14th November, subject to availability.

Restrictions have been placed on this fixture due to Sheffield United advising us that the away end will sell out and to stop away supporters purchasing tickets in the home areas of the ground. If the tickets go on general sale, any supporters who have not purchased tickets with us before will need to provide us with a recent utility bill and photographic ID before purchasing tickets. This can be done in person or by emailing the relevant documents to supporterservices@rotherhamunited.net.

Any visiting supporters found in home areas will be ejected from the stadium for breaching Ground Regulations. Any home fans purchasing tickets in the home areas of the stadium for away supporters may face further action from Rotherham United Football Club and we would ask everyone to bear this in mind when buying extra tickets.

The club will be communicating with Sheffield United to cross reference any new supporters who have purchased tickets in the home end to make sure that they are not away supporters. Should we find that any away supporters have purchased tickets in the home areas of the ground, these tickets will be cancelled and will not work with the automated turnstile system.

Supporters have until 12pm Friday 23rd November to register and after that time, ticket sales will be to supporters who have a purchase history with us.

The club would like to thank supporters for their understanding and co-operation as we prepare for this exciting fixture.

In some instances, when purchasing tickets from the Red & White Shop, proof of age or proof of eligibility will be required, for example when purchasing concessions in the form of senior, disabled or armed forces.

Although proof has been shown at the point of sale, it is advisable to carry some form of proof on match day in case of doubt at the turnstile. This will ensure that you are not delayed and do not miss kick off.  Your help in this matter is much appreciated. Should anyone be found to be entering the stadium on a concession ticket which they do not qualify for, the ticket will be void and a full price ticket will need to be purchased from the Red and White Shop.
