Vassell receives first Northern Ireland call-up...
Rotherham United forward Kyle Vassell is the latest member of Paul Warne’s squad to receive a first call-up to represent his country, after it was announced that midfielder Richie Towell had been given the same news last week.
The former Blackpool attacker has been named in Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland squad, who he qualifies to play for through his Fermanagh-born grandfather, for the upcoming Nations League double header away to Austria and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
There will now be at least four Millers in international action this weekend; Marek Rodak (Slovakia), Semi Ajayi (Nigeria), Richie Towell (Republic of Ireland) and Kyle Vassell (Northern Ireland).
