Paul Warne talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United boss Paul Warne says he will weigh up the pros and cons of freshening his side up ahead of Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship hosting of Queens Park Rangers.

The Millers manager admits there is temptation to reshuffle his pack whilst conceding that making changes will be difficult after an exceptional showing from his team in Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United.

At least one change will be enforced however, with Ryan Manning ineligible to play against he parent club due to the terms of his loan.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s game, Warne explained his pre-match feelings:

"The thought process is two-fold really. You always want to try freshen it up when you can, but then Saturday was possibly the best performance we have had at home this season,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“No-one will really want to come out of the team after that. You can go one of two ways. You can make three changes or so, alternatively you can go the same way and make your subs earlier. That's the one or two ways that we'll go.

"Everyone is fit at the moment, and everyone wants to play. We try to remind ourselves that it is the 'we, not the me'. It is a squad game, but obviously people can get frustrated and disappointed when they are not in the team.

“More often than not over the course of the season they will get their chance, and if the opportunity comes their way it is up to them to keep the shirt. The lads are performing well, but it definitely helps that the lads behind the 11 are pushing hard.”
