McAleny had the Oxford defenders backtracking in injury time. Cutting inside onto his right foot, he then unleashed a piledriver that beat keeper Simon Eastwood for sheer power.
Michael Smith – ROTHERHAM UNITED v Bristol Rovers – 21st April
The 6ft 4in Smith proved he is not just unstoppable in the air, robbing a defender on halfway, surging forward and cleverly clipping a pinpoint shot into the opposite top corner.
Gavin Massey – Fleetwood Town v WIGAN ATHLETIC – 21st April
Not content with a mini scorpion flick to feed the ball neatly into his own path, Massey completed his work of art with an intelligent turn to create space for a crafty low curler.
