Rotherham United are delighted to be continuing their partnership with local car dealership Bickerton Skoda, who have provided a new fleet of cars to the club.

Bickerton Skoda, who have been a dealer in the Rotherham area for over 25 years, have provided the club with nine new Skoda Redline Fabias as part of the new deal, and the new vehicles will be driven by members of the club’s first team and office staff.

New boards with the Bickerton Skoda branding will be in position around the perimeter of the AESSEAL New York Stadium pitch in time for the remainder of the Sky Bet League One 2017/18 run-in and Head of Commercial Mark Hitchens was delighted to extend the partnership upon signing the new deal.

“We have enjoyed a really good relationship with our friends at Bickerton Skoda, who have provided the club with another excellent fleet of cars,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“Bickerton are a very well-established company in the local area and will be well-known to Millers fans, so we are very proud to be extending our association with them.

“We were contacted on social media recently by a supporter, who had seen Bickerton’s advertising down here at the stadium and subsequently bought a car and we are delighted that this partnership allows us to raise the profile of the company amongst our fanbase.”

Jon Atherton, who is a Director at Bickerton Skoda and a lifelong Rotherham United supporter was equally pleased to be continuing the relationship between the two companies.

“More and more Millers supporters are buying cars from Bickerton Skoda and getting them looked after by our service department as the awareness grows of the business grows as a result of our partnership with the club,” he explained.

“We offer a collection and delivery service from the Rotherham area and always enjoy speaking about the Millers with supporters that come in to see us.”
